When Christians pray in unity a force mightier than anything on the face of the earth is unleashed. When your stuttering words hit the power source of the universe – heaven- a powerful reaction is set in motion. A reaction that shakes the foundations and leaves Satan and his dark forces quaking.

Praying to the Almighty God of Heaven and Earth enables you to go through any closed country, no matter how oppressive the regime – even if it’s one of the most evil on the face of the planet. You can reach places physically beyond reach through prayer – how cool is that?

SHOCKWAVE

SHOCKWAVE is a global phenomenon. Young people from various parts of the planet unite to pray for the Persecuted Church. Young people get passionate and up for prayer. God hears and is pleased. Now that’s a powerful combination…
You can pray on your own. with some mates, a youth/cell group or at a large youth event… whatever you do pray and be part of something huge!

SHOCKWAVE 08 29 Feb-02 March – be part of it and let us know please if you’re going to pray!

You – We’re asking you as an individual to get on your knees and pray for your persecuted family around the planet. Use the SHOCKWAVE prayer resources for this.

Youth group – As a group can you give space to the persecuted in your usual youth programme? There will be video clips, and other downloads for you to use to help you pray.

Church service – Can you lead some prayers or even the whole service as part of SHOCKWAVE and get the whole church praying for the persecuted? Can you also take up an offering for persecuted Christians and send it to Open Doors?
