Hope Academy London
19 February 08

Hope Academy hit London last weekend to be challenged by all the God-given-talent who auditioned – talent so good that it made it difficult for the judges to choose who was to go through to the London Regional Final!
The judges for Hope Academy London were Emma Owen from God TV, Tim Owen from Genetik with The Message Trust, Mark Pennells from Innervation Trust and George Mhondera from Survivor Records!
After a challenging time that was enough to give anyone a headache in choosing acts to go through to the London Regional Final, 8 acts were chosen! For the under 18 age category we had 4 soloists, Elize Ellaway, Lucy Greig, Sarah Farrell and Andrew King. For the over 18 category, the London Regional Finalists were, Incubus-like band, Malokai, Sting’s twin, Daniel Shiells, Doxology and Rega singer, Paul Djima!
After the audience and judges voted at the Regional Final Show, it was time for the winners to be announced. The winners were, Lucy Grieg and Malokai! What is really unique about the winners of the London auditions is that Lucy and lead singer of Malokai, Alex, happen to be brother and sister! How cool is that?!
So where next on the nation wide search for a voice for the Persecuted Church through music and song – Hope Academy hits Norwich. Check out the Hope Academy site for more detials.
A massive shout out and thanks to Alpha and Omega Christian Fellowship Church that hosted the auditions.
