What about me?
For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. Eph 2:10
Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven. Matt 5:16
Have you ever felt overlooked or somehow forgotten? Have you ever felt like making a difference but felt too frightened to take the plunge? Chances are you probably have. The Bible says that the enemy is full of lies – he will do whatever he can to distract you and tell you that God does not care about you or your future. Nothing could be further from the truth.
This week we learn from Mehdi Dibaj – a Christian prisoner from Iran who must have felt “forgotten” throughout his nine years in prison. Like Paul, he was beaten, tortured and questioned for his faith in Jesus Christ. Mehdi grew stronger in his faith with an incredible testimony of God’s unfailing love.
One of my guards in prison once asked me: “Does Jesus Christ know that He has someone in this prison who loves Him?” I told him, “Jesus Christ has millions of people all over the world who love him and are willing to sacrifice their lives for Him.”
Truly, living with God is glorious, the darker the night, the closer the dawn.
The darker the clouds, the more plentiful the life-giving rains.
The narrower the way, the more God’s unlimited help!
The greater the troubles, the more God comforts.
Though waves of the sea get higher, this can never disturb the calms of the depths!
Though the storms be violent, it cannot displace the mountain. Those who trust in the Lord are like mountains that cannot be shaken.
The person who lives in the shadow of the Almightly will never be disturbed by heat.
“Living is an opportunity for me to serve Christ and death is a better occasion to be with Christ.”Questions
